Our Team

Lead Pastor Shawn Saylor was raised in Kissimmee, Florida, and has always carried a deep passion for discipleship and Christian education. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Church Ministry and a Master of Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Regent University in Virginia Beach.
Shawn and his wife, Nellyssa, were married in 2010 and are proud parents to two wonderful boys, Solomon and Elijah. Beyond ministry, Shawn enjoys sports, lifelong learning, and even has a budding interest in archaeology.
In 2023, Shawn joined the Stillwater Christian Life Center family. Since then, he has been faithfully leading the church into deeper stewardship, a greater understanding of the Spirit, and renewed influence within the Haines City community. His heart is to see people grow in their faith, discover their God-given purpose, and live it out with courage and joy.

Youth Pastor Corey Crosthwaite is a lifelong resident of Haines City. He graduated from Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL with a Bachelor of Science degree in Church Ministries with a minor in Youth Ministry. He and his wife, Tia, have been an active part of the youth leadership team at Still Water since 2003. Corey has been the full-time youth pastor since 2015.
Corey enjoys any activities that involve the outdoors. He loves going to movies, theme parks and concerts in his free time.

Kay has faithfully served as the Financial Administrator at Still Water Christian Life Center for the past 2.5 years. With a heart devoted to stewardship and integrity, she oversees the church’s financial operations with diligence and care.
Her commitment to excellence reflects her deep love for Jesus, her family, and the church body.

Kay brings both professionalism and compassion to her role, ensuring that every financial decision supports the mission and ministry of Still Water. Her positivity and servant’s heart make her a valued member of the leadership team.
